Recently, the weather in Yangpu is relatively stable. The installation and construction of steel structure and equipment of Handi Petroleum Project has set off a climax, and the project has entered the construction fast lane in an all-round way. In order to guarantee the construction period, all the staff of the project unite as one, voluntarily give up weekend rest time, grab the golden period of construction, and make every effort to ensure the safety, quality and efficiency of the construction.

In view of the disadvantageous factors such as overlapping construction and narrow working space of large-scale machinery and equipment in the later stage of the project, the participating units formulated detailed and thorough installation and pressure test schemes of process pipelines to coordinate and promote the construction progress of electrical instrumentation, anti-corrosion, heat preservation and fire prevention, etc. At the same time, the Ministry of Petroleum Engineering of Handi cooperated with the construction units according to the actual progress of the site. Actively docking with the purchasing department to plan the arrival time of equipment and materials, so as to provide stable material conditions for orderly construction.

In terms of safety management, the HSE Department of Handi Petro has earnestly implemented various safety management systems, continuously strengthened safety measures, established safety responsibility zones, participated in safety diagnosis by all personnel, and left no dead corners for potential safety hazards. In terms of quality management, the HSE Department of Handi Petro Engineering has set up a quality control team to ensure implementation by involving all personnel, controlling the whole process, and comprehensively managing the quality of all construction links. Quality of Work "A Hundred Years Plan, Quality First".

As of January 25, 2019, the project has installed more than 10800 tons of steel structure, accounting for 85.7% of the total; 468 static equipments, accounting for 83.3% of the total; ground pipe construction of the plant has been completed; process pipeline construction of sulphur and hydrogen plant has begun; ground floor construction of sulphur plant has been completed; hydrogen plant is being divided into zones, while scrambling for seconds to grab the remaining high-pressure hydrogenation plant. The construction of the remaining civil foundation will create favorable conditions for the large-scale construction of the process pipeline after the year. Tao Chunlong, manager of the project engineering department, said that since the end of last year, the construction of main installations on site has accelerated, and the installation of steel structures and equipment has entered the final sprint stage. The construction of various supporting public works has also been intensified. At present, the main transformers, regional transformations, cabinet rooms and circulating water yards have been completed, and the main body of the tank area has completed 80%.
