On July 22nd, the 8th Congress of the Hainan provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce) was held at the Provincial People's Congress, 500 representatives from non-public economic circles in the province attended the meeting. Zhang Yunsheng, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee and minister of the United Front Work Department of the provincial party committee, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech on behalf of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee. Li Guoliang, Vice Governor of Hainan Province, attended and delivered a speech. The National Federation of Industry and Commerce sent a congratulatory letter to the General Assembly, responsible comrades from Hainan Provincial People's Congress, the provincial government, the provincial CPPCC, democratic parties, people's organizations and relevant departments came to the meeting and congratulated.

Zhang Yunsheng said in his speech that in the past five years, the Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce (CCP) has been working closely around the provincial government and firmly grasps the theme of "two health"(the healthy development of non-public economy and non-public economic staff) and adheres to the principle of "unity, service, education and guidance". It fully plays the role of bridge and assistant, unites the majority of non-public economic staff to actively participate in the province's economic construction, political construction, cultural construction, social construction and ecological civilization construction, and has made remarkable achievements. It has played a positive role in the healthy development of non-public economy and the healthy growth of non-public staff.

Zhang Yunsheng hoped that the new provincial and municipal Federation of Industry and Commerce leaders and the majority of members can have an in-depth study of the series of important speeches by chairman Xi Jinping and practice the new strategies of governing, and constantly enhance the "four consciousness". They have to always focus on the central task and serve the overall interests, and always adhere to the unity of industry and commerce, economic and civil society. They have to explore in the practice of "two health" work theme and in the reform and innovation of industry and commerce with a high degree of political responsibility and the spirit of reform. They need to do the united front work of non-public economy, and constantly create a new situation in the work of industry and commerce, in order to speed up the construction of a better new Hainan.

Vice Governor Li Guoliang pointed out that the overall situation of the province's economic development is good, the 7^th provincial party congress clearly put forward the idea "to support small and medium enterprises, to grow and develop private enterprises ", which fully embodies that the provincial government attaches great importance to the development of non-public economy. It is hoped that all levels of Federation of Industry and Commerce to emphasize on service, take actions, and play the role of assistant and  bridge, that the majority of non-public economic people to work hard, to achieve new development, show new actions, that the government departments to further emancipate the mind , and escort the non-public economic development.

Wang Qiongzhu, executive vice minister of the United Front Work Department of the provincial party committee, attended the closing meeting and delivered a speech. Representing the CPC United Front Work Department of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee, She expressed warm congratulations to the success of the General Assembly and to the newly elected provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce leaders. She hoped that the new leading group of the provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce can fight together, take on the responsibility to the construction of a good new Hainan and always adhere to the principle of unity of economy and civility, that they can try their best to provide better service to construct a new and prosperous Hainan; that they can comprehensively strengthen the self-construction of industry and commerce, improve the ability to perform their duties to the construction of a better new Hainan, and constantly enhance cohesion, influence, execution, nurturing the appeal of call.

At the meeting, the work report of the seventh Executive Committee of Hainan Province Federation of Industry and Commerce was listened and deliberated; it also elected the Eighth Executive Committee, Standing Committee and Leading Group of Hainan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce (General Chamber of Commerce). It passed the 8^th Congress Resolution of Hainan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce. The General Assembly elected 285 members by secret ballot to form the Eighth Executive Committee of the Hainan Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce. Among them, Wu Hanling, chairman of the Board of Handi Group was elected part-time vice chairman.
