Hainan Handi Petrochemical Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary wholly owned by HANDI Group. It was established in June, 2013 with RMB 1140 million paid-in capital. In order to build Yangpu into world largest specialty oil manufacturing base and to promote lean industry chain in Yangpu, and also aiming at building HANDI into a big, strong, professional and sustainable group company, the 1.5 million MT/year Specialty Oil Project and 150,000 MT/year Pharmaceutical and Food Grade White Oil (Phase I) is already under construction. The Phase I Project occupies 533 mu land. UOP – EM hydrocracking and de-wax technology is utilized. Phase I design includes 900,000 Mt/year hydro pre-treating facility, 400,000 MT/year hydro isomerization and hydro finishing facility, 150,000 MT/year Pharmaceutical and Food Grade White Oil hydrocracking facility, 20,000N m3/h hydrogen generation facility and other public supporting facilities. While the Phase I is completed, Phase II expansion will lift total capacity to 1.5 million MT/year.

The capacity of HDP is 6 times that of HDS with total output value of RMB 20 billion. HDP will be the world most competitive company with largest single refinery capacity, most advanced technology and most product lines.
